Accessibility

Our commitment to accessibility and inclusive experiences.

Our Commitment

weehours.club is built for everyone. We're committed to making voice-first companionship accessible to all, regardless of ability, language, or background.

We follow WCAG 2.1 AA standards and continuously work to improve our platform's accessibility.

Visual Design

Our interface is designed with readability and contrast in mind.

  • All text meets WCAG AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
  • Dark theme optimized to reduce eye strain and glare
  • Clear, readable typography with sufficient spacing
  • Focus indicators visible on all interactive elements
  • Scalable text that works with browser zoom up to 200%

Keyboard Navigation

All features can be accessed using a keyboard. We support standard navigation patterns and skip links for efficiency.

Navigation tips:

  • Tab to move between interactive elements
  • Enter or Space to activate buttons
  • Escape to close modals and dialogs
  • Arrow keys for dropdowns and menus

Language & Culture

We embrace linguistic diversity and cultural inclusion.

  • Hinglish and regional languages welcome in all sessions
  • Hosts can set language preferences for their Circles
  • Interface supports multiple languages (expanding)
  • Culturally aware content moderation and guidelines

Voice-First Design

Our platform is built around voice, making it naturally accessible for many people. All sessions are audio-based, which means:

  • No visual elements required to participate in conversations
  • Hosts describe visual cues if sharing anything on screen
  • Voice quality indicators help ensure clear audio for everyone
  • Captions and transcripts available for recorded sessions (coming soon)

Ongoing Improvements

Accessibility is an ongoing journey. We regularly audit our platform, listen to community feedback, and implement improvements.

Upcoming features include screen reader optimization, live captions for sessions, transcript exports, and expanded language support.
